About Cowgirl Blooms
Inspired by the roaming, independent spirit of a wild cowgirl, Cowgirl Blooms looks to foster a balance between creativity, community, and sustainability.
We aim to source our flowers as locally as possible to help our community thrive. We love connecting with local farms and encourage designs based on flowers currently in season.
We are a foam-free, environmentally conscious business, keeping up with the latest trends in sustainable floral design.
As a queer woman-owned business, we celebrate love in its many forms, however big or small. Love and liberation for all!

Betsy Mebane
Owner + Lead Designer
Raised by the waves of Santa Monica, California, Betsy embraces her southern roots.
With connections to New Orleans, Colorado, Texas, North Carolina, and Tennessee, the southwest sparks inspiration.
From teaching cooking classes and flower workshops to working for a farm-to-table dinner company and apprenticing on a Colorado flower farm, food and flowers remain a core passion for Betsy. She has dreams of owning her own farm land one day.
When she’s not flowering, Betsy can be found exploring nature, perusing art markets, drinking boba, scouring vintage stores for antique treasures, or lounging with her calico cat Calliope.
Cowgirl Blooms is currently based in Brooklyn, NY - for now!
